This policy describes how SpeakDo (“the app”, “we”) handles information when you use SpeakDo: Smart Voice Reminders. We designed the app so your voice notes and related content stay on your device by default.
This policy applies to anyone who installs and uses the app on iOS or Android (as applicable). The publisher is the developer identified with the app on the App Store or Google Play.
The app stores voice recordings, transcripts, reminders, settings, and related data locally on your device (for example using on-device databases and file storage). This content is not transmitted to our servers by the app for routine operation, because the app does not require you to create an account with us to use core features.
If you back up your device with iCloud, Google, or another provider, copies of app data may be included in those backups according to your device and platform settings. We do not control third-party backup services.
The app may request access to the following, only when needed for the feature you use:
Operating systems (Apple, Google) may process some data according to their own privacy policies.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use third-party advertising SDKs in the app as part of this policy’s scope; if we add optional analytics in the future, we will update this policy and, where required, obtain appropriate consent.
The app is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your region). If you believe a child has provided us information in error, contact us using the details below.
We rely on your device’s security features. You should keep your device software updated and use a passcode or biometrics to protect access to your data.
Because data is processed on your device, location of processing depends on where you use the device. If you are in the European Economic Area, UK, or Switzerland, you may have additional rights under local law regarding personal data; contact us to exercise those rights where applicable.
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Effective” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy, unless applicable law requires a different process.
